 Lebourg, Albert Biography(1849-1928)
Albert Lebourg was a French Impressionist landscape artist. He was born in Montfort-sur-Risle and entered the École des Beaux-Arts of Rouen at a young age, also studying at L'Academie de Peinture et de Dessins in Rouen. Afterwards, he was briefly a student of Jean-Paul Laurens. While Lebourg’s art works show the influence of the Impressionists, they also have a strong sense of structure and design. His paintings were very popular with his contemporaries, and he exhibited alongside Claude Monet, Camille Pissarro and Edgar Degas. | | |
